hey this is a little bit off subject but i seen somewhere on the internet that there is a code for the soda machine that you can accsess the menu to get free pop, but its just hard for me to believe. Its just on the newer pop machines though the ones with the big ol' buttons on them. Macgyver is right up there with the A-team haha which are both pretty kick t.v series ha

This is a little off subject too, but a little while ago at work I noticed in the cash register was a quarter with a hole in the middle of it.
I'm just curious, does anyone know if that trick still works?

Most machines now have a "anti pull back" mechanism which traps the coin before it passes the coin counter.. think like a one way gate.

yes.


Most vending machines are Baton, Abloy, or Medeco. I haven't seen a tubular lock on a Coke or Vending machine in a while.

besides, why do you need to know so bad.

Why do you guys act like this is top secret information ? Anybody who knew anything about a tubular lock would just walk up to the vending machine and count how many pins there are!

It's amazing you guys question every single user who just comes onto the board to ask a simple question why they want to know! With a tinge of paranoia. As if god forbid somebody tried to pick open a tubular lock pick and steal a can of coke! That would be the crime of the century! If they wanted to do that, they wouldn't come here. Okay, enough beating this dead horse.

If your a professional working on these machines, I am sure you have proper training. (and or ask in the advanced forums, as this is still considered a advanced lock) If your really interested in these locks without any ill intent, purchase one off ebay, or make a "want" post on the Buy Sell Trade forum.

Other than that, this thread is locked.

(and the last poster above me is right- to a point- just count the pins if you really want to know how many there is- Word of advice, most tubulars still on vending machines these days have anti pick pins, making it very hard to pick)
