whats your opinion on electric picks? southord/pro-lok

i want to get a commercial electric pick, but i can't decide which one to get... the southord one seems to be what im leaning toward... has anyone compared it to the pro-lok one? southord advertises it's version takes multiple types of batteries, does the pro-lok only take alkaline ones? and the pro-lock one doesn't have an adjustment...

any input would be great. I just dont want to be disappointed with such a costly thing, my diy one works usually.

I have never wasted my money on those. Picking a lock is a skill that takes nothing but practice. Many many locks can be picked in 30 seconds or less when you acquire the skill. Of course this is just my opinion.

I agree. Also you ever try one, you'll see how pickguns aren't that easier than using regular picks, once you master them it's just a different way of opening locks.
On the other hand solid skills can be applied to everything.
