What is your personal preference for pick thickness?

Postby Daggers » Sun Dec 25, 2011 5:19 am

I was wondering what you're personal preferences were for the thickness of your picks. I think the ones that i use are .022 inches but im not too sure as the screen on my measurement tool is going bonkers. I saw that the ones that ratyoke makes are .025 and i was thinking that seems a bit thick because i sand the sides of the tip of my picks to be slightly thinner to fit into locks better and mine are only .022. Or is the .003 inch difference not even big enough to make a difference and im just being a perfectionist?

It greatly depends on which locks (US/UK) though a .025 is fine IMO 8)
