This wont mean anything to the overseas chaps but has anyone had any success opening the Roto euros fitted in the composite doors? They are usually accompanied by the anti-snap shrouds under the handles. I dont think iv ever picked one and the one i went to tonight was pretty tough to drill open! They are so hard to pick because of that tiny slither of a keyway you just cant get anything in there. IMO these are overkill for the dirty council flats that they protect. I have the undrilled half here for anyone that wants to prove me wrong and film it opened straight out the packaging

I have a bump key for those I think, but I've never actually seen one. It's a ROT1 blank, looks the same as the standard 1A but a little thinner. I wouldn't mind having a go picking one of those, they sound fun

I took it on holiday with em this weekend but still failed lol. it needs a really skinny hook possibly with a bend to work around the keyway. Too tough for me

Good challenge, only this half cylinder plays? If not, I try to make a video from ROTO picking. ( Perfect lock for demostrate how the bumpkey works, if you have the correct key you need only 1-2 hit as beginner in bumping... )

I got the package today, and the last time I had a pick in my hands was more than 10 days ago It'll be an embarrassing first video. Cheers

I failed I got a couple of phone calls also, so the video is split in 3, very suspicious if I was able to pick it. I'll try to upload the video tomorrow for you to laugh at me I'll try again to pick it in the next days. Thanks for the lock, it's very interesting and challenging with its narrow keyway. Cheers

and yours must be very short I used the 2 half diamond you see in the picture. I started with the blue one and then I needed the bigger one to set the last two very short pins. I may take it apart to see what's inside, but I guess nothing special. The tight keyway is what makes this lock difficult. Cheers
