Toomush, you'll do it soon, you need to know the difference between old and new levers.
If you're dealing with a lock with the old levers - with a curtain pick, it is best to decode the lock using the false gates and then pick it. It can be done without decoding it, but it takes longer.
When working on a lock with the new levers, that can be done with direct picking.

I have a question about the older style Chub 3G114 5-lever lock.

As well as the 7 different lever sizes there are a number of "monitor" levers (3 I think) that have differing belly sizes. Can someone tell me what the function of these is? Is it just to make it more difficult to decode the lock?

Why don't I get the 110's with no detainers WHY!!!!!
Chris, I really need to pick your brains about picking/decoding the 110, is there any chance you can send me some information/tips etc... PM or E mail if you have anything.
I have not had a play with the kit since the last 101 meet up and as I am not practicing, I recon I'll have even less chance of opening another one of these!!
