Checking in from the Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area. I live in Silver Spring, but I'd be happy to get into contact with anyone else in the local area. I believe my e-mail is in my profile.

I live in southern PA right across the MD line in Harford county. Drop me a line.

He stood without and would not knock,
Because he meant to pick the lock.”

I'm in Catonsville right next to Baltimore, but almost certainly within an hour of wherever meetings would be.
Dfagan, are you volunteering to handle the paperwork, as it were? Somebody needs to have organizational skills for this to work (and I certainly don't :-))

Of course... I'm always here to help with the paperwork where I can. In fact, I think it's in my job description. Not sure, I'd have to check. 8)

Gordon,

I guess I could handle the paperwork, shouldn't be too hard. I actually have a coworker who might be interested in becoming a member as well. I'm going to talk to him about it today. I'll also talk to my local library, as they have meeting spaces that are usually available. and I'm pretty familiar with Catonsville, I went to UMBC, or as we always called it, UCLA, the University of Catonsville, Left of Arbutus.

Small world, me too. I've heard the UCLA one, love that.

I also live in Northern Virginia, in the Woodbridge area. I'd be interested in meetings of some sort.

Hello,
I and a couple of friends have recently become really interested in this. We all live in the Alexandria area, but can travel to meet up. We're all fairly new, but we are catching on and would love to get together with some other people to learn more from them.
