hey folks, i've haven't been about on here recently as life got a little hectic (buying a house, getting laid off, launching a non-profit, etc etc) but long story short, i'm on the board of twin cities maker(www.tcmaker.org), the local hacker/makerspace and we've got a few members who do locksport, and figured it was about time we did something about it.

i've got permission to launch a monthly open locksport night. i'm thinking tuesday evenings maybe the last tuesday of the month, or the 2nd tuesday. thoughts?

Tuesday would work for me. or if another day turns out to be the better one, that would work too.

There is an Open Locksport meeting Tuesday the 3rd of May at the TCmaker.org Hack Factory in Minneapolis from 7pm-9pm. The address is listed on the website.

Myself and Raimundo plan to be there and would like to see other people in the Minneapolis area attend if they can.

I live in St. Paul myself, I'd definitely enjoy getting together with fellow pickers, I'm completely new to this hobby and would really like some people with the same interest to converse with. My first set of schlage locks will be here this weekend, and I already have a nice novice pick set, so I'm sure you lot will be seeing a lot of me on the forums

Just joined, total novice. Made a pick and a tensioning tool yesterday. Picked a couple of my old Masterlocks. I think I am going to enjoy the challenge of this. I would definitely try to come to a gathering if I was not already committed to something else.

No big plans or anything formal, just chat, pick, share, hopefully learn something new. Open Locksport is open to the public, you don't need to be a member of TC Maker to attend.
