Hi All

Been reading this forum most days for a while and now its time to post.
I have been successful in picking locks that I have bought and also some locks I have been given.
I have just bought the southord tubular pick and WOW.
How easy is that to open these "high security locks".
Anyway thats me for now.

I'm new to the forums. I'm not in the locksmith profession, nor do need to learn about picking locks. However, I am fascinated with the art. I just found this forum because I lost the keys to my shed and was researching ways to get the lock off. Perhaps, I will want to pick it up as a "hobby". :D

Hello everybody!

Postby peter_k78 » Wed Sep 21, 2005 3:35 pm

My name is Peter and i'm from Sweden. I just found out about this site and I really like it. I've been picking locks for about 3years and i think i'm just stuck to this hobby for about the rest of my life...

My equipment is the Southord MPXS-20 kit (I really like it) plus a number of home made picks.

I'v been focusing on pin tumbler locks and now I'm trying an ASSA SCD-lock this is a tough one! the pins has to be rotated as well as raised. If you have any tips please feel free to help me.

Thank you for this fantastic site!

/Peter

Day one.

Postby Taedrin » Fri Sep 23, 2005 6:52 am

It's day one as a registered user for me, though I've been 'lurking' for a while, learning what I can to further this wonderfuly addicting habbit I started with a cheap qwik-pick pen style lockpick six years ago (21 now). I am actually hoping to make a start as a locksmith around here, though I still have a bit o' learning time ahead before I will feel capable enough to take that step. In the meantime, I'll enjoy (hopefuly) frequent visits...and if anyone has any advice for me with regards to starting a fruitful and enjoyable career, please let me know!
