You may be going agaist trend, I have known more locksmiths who took up carpentry for the steadier and larger income,

but that is an impression that has formed over many years, it may not hold still in this economy.

I'm not changing my career in the near future, i quite like being a joiner when works busy its a steady income and ive always loved working with my hands,I do mean when I've decided to wind down a bit, I can't go lumping fire doors around or fitting kitchens when I'm 60, or if I could I don't want to be, I just want to add the locksmith element to my skill set, so maybe when I'm 40-50 I can confidently do it along side my joinery jobs, just so maybe I can do a range of smaller jobs more often unlike jobs I do know which vary from 3 days to a month at a time. So if anyone can explain to me what spp'n means I'd appreciate it alot.
