Collection of templates.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Copied from crypto.com. Scaled in GIMP. Smoothed in Inkscape. Accurate size at 72 dpi.

I know Exodus 5000 already posted these templates, but to my knowledge, they weren't to scale, so to save people some work, here are the templates I made to use.

Hello all this is my first time posting on this website so bare with me. I work in a shop where I have access to different kinds of sheet metal stainless and aluminum and i was wondering if someone could point me to the right template for a precise diy beginner.I have access to all different kinds of Bench clamps, anvils, bench shears and files. Any help is greatly appreciated and all of these templates are great I'm just a little overwhelmed. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum!

There are tons of templates of different pick shapes but I would suggest you make first one hook, one half diamond and then maybe bogota if you like raking too. Little details in shapes differ from every person´s preferences. With that set you´ll be able to pick most locks. Then you gain more experience for which direction you take your next picks.

Good luck!

Thanks so much, just the info I was looking for. You can read all you want but experience and talking to actual people is the only way I truly grasp things, not unlike most people. That's why I'm happy to be a part of this site. Thanks for helping the noobs!

I had some templates from these forums, and it was tiring to get them to size, so I remade these picks in Photoshop. I don't remember where I got them, just that they're from these forums, so I don't know who to thank for the original photos/scans/templates.
They are at 360 PPI (Pixels Per Inch).
