Can I make a pick without a grinder?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Can I make a pick without a grinder?

Postby J-SC » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:00 am

I was wondering if there were any alternative methods for making a pick other than using a grinder. I'm not really concerned with how long it will take, but it would help if it's possible to do it somewhat fast.

Also, another question: I got my hands on some windshield wiper blades, now I'm just wondering if I can only use it to make the tension wrench or if I can use them for the pick as well.

Which are, and is the method any different than with a hacksaw blade?
