Unique lockpick set on auction at the EFF Summit

Postby Legion303 » Mon Jul 02, 2012 9:31 am

I've made a set of picks for the EFF to auction off at their Summit party at Defcon 20 (see http://site.vegassummit.org/Home_Page.html for info). The set features bacon-styled handles and a blued higher-carbon steel than I usually use, which makes a more rigid pick and theoretically better feedback. This was the last of my stock of that type of steel, and I've decided that this will be the ONLY set I'll make with the bacon handles. This ensures that the set is going to be unique and hopefully get the auction price up for the EFF. Note that I'm not making a dime off this (technically I am getting exposure for my picks, but if you're reading this here, you already know about them). Support the EFF!

So no more bacon handles?

It's sorta funny because when I was looking at your lockpick sales thread I had already thought that if you made the marble handles red and white they would look like bacon...

and then I find this thread.

Bacon is good.... not sure why bacon wasn't included in my username.

Best of luck on the auction, those handles are beautiful.
