What to read NEXT!

Hey everyone I have read the MIT guide to lockpicking and the LSI guide to lockpicking so far. can anyone tell me something else I should read that is provided on the web for free. i am doing what i am told and trying to read read read and read some more. so anything would be helpful. thanks lockpicking101.

Seriously: if you spend time reading through the previous discussions and stickied threads, you'll learn far more than is in just about any book on lockpicking. This is one of the best resources for learning, and it's free.

You can't learn picking from a book, just like you can't learn how to be a quarterback from reading a book about the NFL.

Practice.

My first year, I practiced 2 hours a day every day.

Also, find some lock animations on youtube.com to watch, understanding how locks work and how picking works and developing a better mental picture of what is going on inside the lock while your pick tools are in there poking around lifting pins and trying to rotate the plug. Imagine if you shrunk to the size of a lock pin, and could walk through the keyway like walking into a cave, and got to walk in there while you saw the pick above your head moving the pins up and down, if you can do this mentally it will give you a huge advantage in addition to what you already hear and feel as you insert pick tools into a lock and move them around.

breathe, practice, and don't let the lock frustrate you.

I am practicing as much as i can i only have about 5 locks to pick and i am getting those 5 down pretty good i understand i need to get mmy hand on more locks. I am just trying to get some input on more things i should be reading. Belive me i know you cant learn everything from a book i am very hands on i am skilled in many different things and i learned them all hands on. i apreciate all the advise given to me hear on this forum i find it very helpful.

Those are all good reads, some other sites I have found useful are LockWiki and reading the NDE magazine.
Youtube is also full of informative video's on just about everything..
