Difference between mini-mite 008 and mini-mite 008A?

Postby knowspicker3 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 6:45 am

I picked up an old Ilco Mini Mite 008, which is still operable. I wonder though what is the difference between this model and the newer Ilco Mini MIte 008A? As far as I can tell, the 008A has a new hood shield to protect against burrs and bits of metal from flying away from the cutting wheel. Are there any other differences?

I think there is also an Ilco 008B, but I don't know how it differs from the 008 or 008A either.
