Southord Tubular Problem

Postby CFour » Wed Apr 25, 2012 6:51 am

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a Southord 7 pin tubular pick and noticed that the collar will not sit level even though it is threaded correctly and smoothly. That being said, at whatever tension I set, some of the feelers are either looser or tighter than the rest...resulting in noticeably uneven tension around the pick. This is my first tubular pick, is this common or did I receive the one that slipped through the cracks?

You are probably trying to break into the wrong vending machine.

Mine does the same thing, try taking it apart and cleaning it. Dusting the grooves sometimes helps, also maybe lube the o-rings.
