Review for Miracle A5

Postby ajman5252 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:20 am

Heyy Guyss

I am new to this forum and in this profession as well . However i love this forum. Great help for amateurs like me....

Does anyone has used Miracle A5 key cutting machines?? or the previous model A3? how are they... Are they good enough. As far as i am aware of, its made in Korea.

I know that it only cuts Auto keys.. but thts what i want. i guess it cost around 5300k. its kind of huge investment for me, so just wanna make sure before i buy it.

Can miracle A5 cut keys from a car''s VIN number??

Thanks in Advance

The A5 only cuts from space and depth, you will need to know all the cuts as it doesn't have any key codes on it so you will still need something like Instacode.

There is no such thing as a machine that can cut keys from a VIN, there isn't even software for this at it is something that dealers have on their database. Imagine all the work us Locksmiths would loose to the Codesmiths if there was such a thing :)

Heyy Lunch Box

can it still cut from the original key?? For Example, if a customer has a key, can it read from that key and cut into new one??

Also do you know any other machine which is better than A5??

Thanks for advice!!!

Hi have only played around with one for a couple of minutes so I don't know if it can decode a key to copy it, but with the help of instacode it isn't too hard to read the key you need to copy and cut another to code, it's always a good idea to be cutting to code anyway.

Better machines, how much do you want to spend? I have a Viper and Unicode 299 in the car and Viper and 399 in the workshop, expensive machines but they more than pay for themselves. For something around the same price as the A5 there is the 3Dpro, again I haven't used one of these but for the price they look pretty good except they don't communicate with Instacode, there is also the ITL950, really depends what you want to spend.
