Bolt series locks

Postby clearmoon247 » Thu May 17, 2012 9:47 pm

So, has anyone heard anything about Bolt locks. There website is here:
http://www.boltlock.com

Their idea seems logical, like the concept of rekeying for a kwikset smart key but as a single throw to program the lock.
I love the concept and it seems like a more secure option than just standard wafer locks, but, the question remains, would it have a similar vulnerability like the smartkey or securekey with the breaker tool.
Aim for the impossible, because there is no challenge in trying when something is known that it can be done

It has the same security as a GM sidebar lock. They are made by the OEM for GM, most Chrysler and most US Ford vehicles. It is a simple but effective solution. Most hitch locks and tool box are so simple to pick this has to be an improvement.

I like the idea that you can use your ignition key to unlock all the axillary locks on your vehicle.
