Kingfor 9200SS or 9200PB

Postby cu-cumbie » Sat Jun 23, 2012 12:44 pm

I came across this lock, the Kingfor 9200ss and while it is a simple lock in form--a key less magnetic lock which requires a dog tag looking key fab to unlock it. I did some research and can not find a site that talks about how to pick this lock. Any ideas?

What you are describing sounds a lot like a CorKey type lock...

There was a thread on LP101 about them a while back...

Thanks. It IS a CoreKey lock! Do you know if it's pick-able? I was thinking all I need is a magnet attached to something sturdy enough to push it down to unlock it.

I honestly have 0 clue. My complex had this lock on our pool and I'm trying to avoid paying for a replacement key.

No: just pushing a magnet in won't work... the lock is more complicated than that.

Please don't go messing with someone else's lock: we're not here to help people get into places. We're here because we enjoy our own locks as a form of puzzle.

Evan thank you so much for the help. I followed all the links in the original post and showed my husband. I think we're just gonna have to bite the bullet and pay for a replacement key, even if it is $175 :( I guess that's just part of the cost of being a homeowner.
