Estimate lock price, please

Couple days ago I bought a Medeco Biaxial (very old, but in very good shape - just a little scratched exterior.
There are two keys, 5 pin, restricted ("do not copy" on keys), there is owners card.
The lock is easy to rekey without disassembly (I don't know if it's common for these locks), there is a screw for each pin chamber.
Pins have false groves, both vertical and horizontal.

How much do you think this lock worth?

I bought it for picking practice, but maybe sometime I will want to sell it.

Is it a deadbolt? a rim cylinder, a mortise cylinder, a kik? go on ebay and see how much they're selling for.

for a deadbolt, usually $50 is decent, a rim or mortise cylinder I'd pay $20-$40, and $20 for a kik.

There are no old medeco deadbolts on ebay now, and new ones cost $150-$200.

I found this deadbolt on Craigslist and was lucky enought to buy it for only $30. There is a sticker on the box with lock: in 1986 it was $120, so it was very expensive lock.

I hope you're not thinking of putting in on ebay for $150, nobody will buy it. not even for $100. Simply put, its an old lock. sure, very well made, but on ebay I wouldnt pay more than $40-$50 for it if I was looking for one.

$30 was a good price, you can either install in on your house, or pick it and have fun, but dont plan to sell it for profit down the road, especially if you pick it all the time, it wouldnt be fair to sell to someone who wants to install on their apartment or house and have the insides be all tampered with.

Yes, that's what I planned to do - just add to my collection of locks that I pick from time to time, and it's always good to have a spare deadbolt just in case. Even though I really like my Weiser SmartKey, and even taking into account that old Medeco Biaxial is not impossible to pick at all, I still think that old Biaxial is still safer than SmartKey.

Of course I understand that this deadbolt doesn't cost even close to the new lock, I just wanted to have an estimate made by experts, just in case. It can be especially helpful if I decide to trade it to another lock or tool(s).

Surely the patent for that would've expired now since 1986 and the blanks available for those as a result?

Medeco aren't really used in my country for some reason, so I wouldn't know them well...
