@inthislife21:
Are you asking about the pin-tumbler version that uses 10 depths (0 through 9) or the disc-tumbler version which uses 4 depths (0, 2, 4 and 6) ?
Both types of bitting ca use the same keyway...

Everyone who eats potatoes eventually dies. Therefore potatoes are poisonous.

@Evan
I was referring to the pin tumbler but I'd love to know the depth and Spacings for the wafer as well.

None on that page will correspond to the specs you are looking for, those are all for full size pin cylinders... You are looking specifically for CompX National small pin cylinder specs as well as the CompX National disc tumbler specs... I thought I had that information somewhere but it appears I do not since I haven't been able to find it in my digital folder chock full o' lock info... ~~ Evan

I can't recall ever seeing this keyway used on a disc tumbler lock. What is it used on?

Had to dig through my reference books for a bit. Here's what I have for a NA12, NA14 and NA24 ("National Cabinet Lock Small Pin"), which correspond to the Ilco 1069LB, 1069L and 1069LC: - Depth 0: .270" / 6.86mm
- Depth 1: .257" / 6.53mm
- Depth 2: .245" / 6.22mm
- Depth 3: .232" / 5.89mm
- Depth 4: .220" / 5.59mm
- Depth 5: .207" / 5.26mm
- Depth 6: .195" / 4.95mm
- Depth 7: .182" / 4.62mm
- Depth 8: .170" / 4.32mm
- Depth 9: .157" / 3.99mm
- Pin 1: .150" / 3.81mm
- Pin 2: .290" / 7.36mm
- Pin 3: .430" / 10.92mm
- Pin 4: .570" / 14.48mm
- Pin 5: .710" / 18.03mm

@cledry: The small pin tumbler CompX-National locks have faces which resemble miniature mortise cylinders with the keyway plug offset towards the bottom of the cylinder face... If it is a standard D punched hole mounted lock made by CompX-National with the keyway perfectly centered it can be assumed to be disc-wafer pins... I have seen the small pin tumbler version used on higher end retail fixtures and built-in cabinets in other environments... ~~ Evan

You mean double D hole right? The ones I use from National are pin tumbler using the NA12, NA14 keyway but the wafer ones I use take the RO3, RO7 keyway generally. I'm trying to get away from using their pin tumbler cam locks because the sales people at retail establishments can't seem to get used to a 360 degree rotation. I'm talking about cam locks here, not mail box locks.

Evan, can you point me to info on these National wafer tumbler mailbox locks. I looked in my CompX National catalog and am not finding them, nor am I finding a NA12 type blank listed for them except for pin tumbler. My catalog is 2011, which is the latest on their site. http://www.compxnet.com/images/compxnational_aug2011.pdf

@cledry: I am sorry, they were not made by CompX-National but were a foreign made look a like product which used the NA-12 blanks... The cams were spot welded onto the plugs and the locks could not be serviced... ~~ Evan
