The explainations were so easy to understand and the

And thanks. It makes me think that there is more security
in one of the old intricate warded locks, than my dodgy deadbolt.

Benroy44, I think that there is definately a market for that sort of
thing, and they would probably cost a fortune to buy, too.
I say, go for it.

these locks are very popular,especcially in old houses,and chests etc.

It gives us a good view of how they work.Sweet guide capt.

WOW!!!!! what a very interesting read. very informative and easy to follow. I woudln't be at all supprised if this type of system is brought back in some form or another as the big manufacturers seem to have run out of ideas a bit with regards to lever lock security. and as some have mentioned it does in this day offer a greater level of security now than when these warded type lock were in common use.
