how do u rake is it the same as picking!

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Racking is a style of picking. I suggest you do some research yourself ( there are many links on other posts ). By not doing anything yourself, we can tell you are not a serious lockpicker.

Most lock picking guides tell you how to rake, tho i prefer single pinning which can sometimes be quicker wen using proper picks.

what do you mean by proper picks? also raking is usually faster but in the odd case you will get a stuburn lock.

By proper picks I mean tools specifically crafted for picking locks eg. the picks made by Southord and street cleaner bristles grinded/filed down to resemble such tools eg. 45 degree half diamond; since buying a pick set this has worked for me fine, xcept for cases when a shallower half d was necessary for a bit mor accuracy on a pin that didnt need raising much to set.

Paper clips, as far as i'm concerned, suck totally and make a crap substitute. If you can make a paper clip work then well done, but i just couldnt give a paper clip enough respect to address it as a lock pick.lol
