Luke,

I may be taking it the wrong way but im visiting people in the US at the moment. This is the only stuff US authorities would let me bring the rest they stole.

Rytans LUKE,,,,,,you obviously dont know what you are looking at, Marso can voutch I have at least 5K worth of picks from all over the world and im back to making my own. (funny that)

I have some serrious equipment and I like Dark ANGEL's equipment too. I am a professional Locksmith and we too have a lot of lever locks in OZ. I would be interseted in knowing how you guys do over the lever lock, I hope it is not all drilling.
I am quite proud of my equipment and there is stuff i have no
one will ever see, not in my life time anyways.

Oh and Marso, if i see you again dont forget I know where you live and I will remove you from this earth beacause you have see me and the tools in action

I saw the videos from H2K and the GBM,,,,,oh my GOD what an idiot. like the other two dunderklumpens from Finland. I have never laughed so much in my whole life,,,,,well for some time.

GBM only talked about what, supposed how and never demonstrated. The old money where ya mouth was not present. Then to top things off he got applauded,,,,,when he finnished!@!!!!!!!! what the!!!

anyways missing home in one of those moods I will get off the soapbox now, I appreciate ya time guys. Just bear with me a little longer home on the 21st.

Ummm, O.K, good. This is what i do when i see a lever lock, find a pin tumblar, no locksmiths around here actually pick lever locks, they find the alternate entry and for older levers, you can use a coat hanger.

h2k guy cant really pick locks that good. that micheal glassclow or laz or whatever his name is, he just knows the theory.. and is always looking for a laugh or to be center of attention or be 'cool'... um, what a loser. he also likes pushing his finger printing security crap and telling the same used lock jokes over and over.

enough with that off topic rant...

i'm jelous of you guys with so much equip. if i wasn't about to drop out of college for lack of funds, i'd like to pick up some other picks and items (like a grinder)... unfortantly, i'm not so sure i can afford ramen noodles to eat next week.. :(

...that's why i pick locks, takes my mind off everything else.

Cormu,

Dude, firstly you posted fantastic photos of the Abloy, for your info we have the same, infact we are also up to the executive here. Secondly you did not include your images of your impressioning result. Thirdly I dont really know who or what you are yet.(take no offence please)

As you can appreciate the majic is not just given away. you have to earn it. marso can also voutch for me onthe abloy he has seen it in action.

Also im in the US attending a safe and vault conference and my equipment for the abloy is in OZ.

sure I am making photos as we speak for impressioning tools ill post em soon. then we can pm later about other photos if you are a bit sensitive about them :) I have tryed with out success to fit a wire between the disks and i am in process of making a decoder for it as i fell it may be easyer to 'feel' when the noctches are in place, the problem with impressioning the abloys is that it takes me hours as you rightlly said about the disks not giving enough tension against the sidebar. this makes marking the 'blank' tough and several times have marked wrong due to the false gates coupled with the added time consuming filing actions :)

prod, check out the tubular video i made and ill try to do similar for abloy :) http://www.cjp.fi/lp101tubulars.avi (right click and save as)

after i Have made my new tool ill have those pics up for you

Ahh the wonders of a dremmel :)

That's kind of a strange attitude for someone on a lockpicking message board.

** (note). The idea behind the mod to the wiper blade strip tension wrench, is to
enable it to fit into many keyways without slipping out. To do the mod, make a
tension wrench as normal, but incorporate a small bend in the part which is placed
into the keyway. This small bend will allow the tension wrench to fit snugly into
a variety of keyways without slipping.

mick: any idea what that Master 230 padlock was snipped off with? doesn't look like the job of good ol fashioned boltcutters... could be wrong though.

Was removed with a trusty angle grinder!! The Lockie gave it to me some 10 days ago, I tried picking/raking the same day - no success. I tried again the next day - no success. I spent a weekend + Mon/Tue in bed with a bad cold & my picks/shim stock - no success. I tried bypassing using the 220 as a guide - not possible IMHO. Shimming doesn't work either, due to the mechanism which locks the shackle.

It seems that my Lockie mate had tried a pickgun/rapping (As there are hammer marks on the lock body, and the springs seem to have been compressed) all to no avail....

I'll file this in the 'ongoing' tray!

The J1 snake pick that is pictured in Micks tools is excellent for opening double waifer car door locks, when used with wishbone tension wrench.
