tubular lock pickgun?

hello all,

I had a brainwave and I suddenly thought of a pickgun for tubular locks.

It is basically a snapper pick inverted (upside down) with the tip end attached to a 1/2 inch piece of a bic pen.

do you guys think this will work?

I can't find any tread on it.

Do you guys think that the snap pick will generate enough energy required to "bump" the pins in a tubular lock?

When I get my hands on more materials, I will create a prototype.

Another thought
The tubular pick gun wouldn't create a stable feeler setting allowing you to turn the lock through the entire arc necessary to unlock a Tubular. You'd end having to 'fire' it every time it relocked. might take awhile.

The reason that wouldnt work is because, you need to have a spot for the tension wrench. You will need a hollow tube of some sort to put a specially designed tension wrench.

Yes but what about placing the 'item' with in the casing ie;

That may be a bit difficult to machine and may cost a bit more. You could just use a Bic pen with an inverted snapper pick as I mentioned earlier.
