I swear my relationshiop with your mum was STRICTLY platonic!

Time has passed, and I have loved many women. And as they've held me close, and asked if I will remember them, I've said, "Yes, I will remember you." But the only one I've never forgotten is the one who never asked.

wow.....Good thing everyone here is all friends....lol. otherwise saying something like your mom is so fat that it takes her 2 trips to haul arse would be taken the wrong way. I mean its not like anyone said that your mom was so fat that she fell and broke her leg and gravy poured out....but thats just one notch above the she steps on a scale and it says one at a time please. Anyways, I am glad this is all in fun and all. I threw in my random jokes, but back on the subject I have a question.
Maybe I have been using it all wrong all this time, but when I use my home made snap gun, I leave the striker stationary against the pins, making sure that it is level and contacting all the pins, then I pull back on the OTHER piece and alow it to snap into the part that is protruding into the lock and contacting the pins. The kenetic energy is transfered first from the other end to the striking end( the pick in the lock) and then from the pick to the pins. With the right tension the lock opens. I have never had any sucsess with pulling the pick back and letting it snap into the lock as it never seems to strike all of the pins at the same time, so when I release the tension there are still the front pins that are unset.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents in with out stepping on anyones oversizes fat sausage sized toes....lol
funny post though guys... Keep it up and I will be laughing all week.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

Illusion and i are good friends, neither of us would talk to another member like that and it was a year ago lol
As regards your snap pick, this thread is about making a snap gun for tubular locks not normal locks which i think perhaps has mislead you a bit as regards the pulling back method,
