I finished up the hex key one, but unfortunately the peaks are too close together...so I may have to pull out some more hex keys I have lying around and start another.

Mr. Raimundo, or anyone else. Is it possible to post templates for the full bogota rake set or just pictures of what a full set looks like?

Well, there are many members here that make their Bogota rakes in many different designs, so you may not get the templates you are looking for. It would help if you could pick out a thread from this site and post it here to better describe the type your looking for.

If you are not picky and would like a template of any Bogota set, I could sketch one up for you if no one else beat me to it. It will be similar to Ray's design but, not the exact measurements as his.

I use cafe computers, so posting is not an option, but I recently took some photos of steps along the process, and sent them on a photo cd to a member here who may soon post them, im not sure he has recieved them in the mail yet. but coming soon.

Well thank you but just any similar set that gets the same results will work. I am new to home brew picks, and while i am at it i could use some more advise. I made the mistake of polishing the hack saw blade before i strated to use a center punch to mark the outline of the pick. Can anyone help me with this problem. And for those that say use the search function I already have. The only other thing I can think of is cutting out the template and spary painting over it, or something similar.

Yes, you can make a template out of card stock (paper the thickness of business cards), thin plastic or even regular paper will work and apply adhesive on one side, stick it to the blade and use a high temp spray paint.

The way I do it is make a template, then press it on the blade and outline it with a fine tipped Sharpy marker. Use a bench type grinder to make all the rough grinds then use a Dremel or similar rotory tool or files to fine tune it. Progressively sanding with 320-800 grit black sandpaper will give it a nice shine and smooth out all the edges.

Ray actually told me.. he has a class 7 laser.. it makes those every cuts right through the steal
