I tried watching it, but I couldn't get past the production values and 70s porn music. Maybe I'll give it another shot. (*chikka chikka bow*)

I bought it at a machine gun shoot last year.
It is a good video with some helpful stuff. The video was good, but I find the pick sets that he sell to be completely worthless. The picks sets are just stamped out stainless. He sells the sets under the premise that it is a good thing that the picks bend. "They bend to fit your hand." You can literally take one of these picks and wad it up into a ball.

If I were a beginner and had to pick with these picks I would give up and think what a crappy sport.

Beginners buy the video, but don't even think of buying the picks.

I don't know of what picks your talking about. I have the video and he uses southord picks in the video. I don't know of a pick set that he is selling. I do know that he bundles the movie with a beginners set of picks from southord though. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

The gun show I saw him at he was selling jigglers, 5 piece southord sets(with the ezpicking book), and his DVD, but was out of jack knife sets.

I will say for what its worth i meet this fellow at a gunshoot in kentucky and i did end up buying the dvd and a spare set of jigglers,I did learn a few new tricks and the video itself is very well made"so in my mind it was worth it"once he makes another i plan on getting it as well,i have actually used this dvd to show a few law inforcement officers and they were really shocked at a few of the tricks and was glad i showed it to them,i may be getting one of the locals in murray ky to join 101 said that really caught his intrest,he will be real noob i may be getting him the tools he was asking on how easy bump keys were and so forth.So like i said theres my 2 cents worth

I bought this DVD a month or so ago, and was really pleased with it. I hesitated buying it, because it seems most of the books and videos available on the subject are just a rehash of the same basic material, but I gave it a try anyway. I found some techniques I hadn't heard of before, and there was also a pretty good section on picking tubular locks. There's not much for an accomplished lockpicker, but for beginners like me it's a good visual supplement to the information contained on this forum. It was also entertaining to watch. If a second volume becomes available, I'll probably buy it.

I have a copy of this dvd and personally I learned alot from it. I really enjoyed all of the thorough explanations and displays, and the dent puller trick was pretty cool, i had never seen anything like it before. I will definitely buy the part 2.

Great video, covers a nice range of locks and technique.
I really didn't mind SouthOrd plugs, they are best views and demonstrations I've seen of those tools, one or two more comparisons to an inferior/alternate would have been nice
The music was not my taste but was better than silence.

Being a newb to locking picking this video helped me learn a lot. I'd recommend it for any person who is learning.

I got it, and I can safely say that it helped ALOT when I was starting out, and there is some more advanced stuff that I haven't quite gotten yet, but I think it didn't really explain some of the principles behind "why it does this" and "why this will happen". Still a good DVD, not one I would buy again, but if you can find it cheap on eBay, then by all means, go for it.
