Ok now i have been searching through here for a while now and i still have not found what i am looking for....The simplist pick and tension wrench to make (that are reasonably durable) and that will work (obviously)
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Hey Richy welcome to the site.
For materials most of us like Street sweeper bristles, and Hacksaw blades
Also Windshield wiper blade inserts make good wrenches
Just bend the Street sweeper bristles or the insert in an L shape.
Search for templates for your picks. It all depends on what kind of pick you like. I personally like the Hook pick and Rakes. But that’s just me. Some one else might like a diamond pick.
If you want a templet that you can just print and paste onto your hacksaw blade choose Chrispy's templet.
Hope that helps
