UK lockpickers, specifically up north

ooh yeh, might be worth getting one made, maybe not this exact one, but a north england lockpick group, i think before its worthy of sticky status we need a few more people to post

yeah! ive noticed a few other posts in this forum that have sprung up since i posted this. we should just combine the 3 to one post so were all talking and finding out whats what with us northern lockpickers

well just wait a bit and hopefully a mod will be able to sort something out after some more people join the thread.. which i hope they will, have you noticed the views counter for this thread? its alot more than the people who have posted as its a specific part of the uk so im hopeful something will get formed by us lot eventually

yeh! well i PM'ed digital_blue about getting this made sticky, but he has someone else keep on eye on here so im gonna contacxt them about it.

would anyone who is a northern lockpicker lets us know even if its just a post saying "im up north" or send me a PM so we can try and get some numbers down and see if a sticky could be made?

yep hes an admin in america but JackNco is working on a uk branch for us lot over here

hehehe ive been working on something for the UK ive managed to get my self the seat as the UK rep for Locksport international.

Basically we will soon as an entire custom built website for locksport meets specifically. not cluttered forums you have to dragg ur feet through but a new format to use.

although that does depend on me actually getting my donkey in to gear and figuring my way round joomla.

You can take this as a kind of unofficial announcement that its coming. With lots of nice functions to make things much easier. don't worry Organized UK Lock Sport is coming, and sooner than you might have though.

but i really hope alot more people get behind this i know il try as im sure others who have already posted will also, never know a north east club might be the first to officially start up...

what you guys need to do is list the cities and counties ur all from and see if you will be a single chapter or competing chapters (thats where the fun comes in)

Do not list any more details than cities and counties at this point and if one of you could put together a list of people in each chapter(s) by area, then post it on here and ill get it forwarded to DB and get thigns moving for you.

Chapters must have 3 or more members and meet on a certain shedual if i remember rightly.

But to become full members of locksport international there are membership fees, the UK one will be free for the time being so lets see if you guys can claim the title of forming the first chapters in the country/UK.

If you are interested in helping create this UK locksport group please post what city and area you are based, if we get the response we need things will start to move along in getting something setup
