Awwwww, looks like so much fun, I wish I could go to either, but I can't (Checked out the airfare from Australia ). Plus I wouldn't be able to get a room within my price range ($0 - $70-ish :P). Well, maybe in a few years time.

shin splints due to being issued the wrong boots at work (and having to wear them for 2months until proper ones came in)

Shin splints, which became closed compartment syndrome. So I basically sit at home all day..

Ya I got them, look great, only thing is no nerves on the top, and they are slightly discolored, but you can barely notice it, unless your looking.. oh and they tan a different tone.

As Schuyler showed, myself and he are scheduled to give a talk at DefCon!

The only issue is that I hadn't made any preparations to attend DC16 :-P

Thus, I am currently franticly routing paperwork to take leave to attend DefCon again. I really want to give that talk and join the hackers and lockpickers for 3 days of drunken security-breaking madness again :-) So far, I have not met with any resistance to the request at work, but we'll have to wait and see.

I WILL be attending DefCon! Getting ready to buy plane + hotel today because prices are skyrocketting.

Plane and hotel are good to go...and not cheap. Also the schedule has been posted on defcon.org [url]http://defcon.org/html/defcon-16/dc-16-schedule.html[url] Schuyler and myself are speaking for 2 hours in Track 1 on Friday at 11AM :-)

Nice work JK, hope you guys have fun.

And a small request, during the picking competitions, can you guys get your hands on some pictures of the boards they make up? I'm looking to make something similar. 8)

It's official. I'm definitely in. I'll be hitting a lot of the physical security tracks and kicking it with some locals, including the podcasters meetup and i-hacked crew in Skybox 208 on Saturday. Send me a PM if you want contact info to meet up.
