I would like to start a group in Ontario, around Toronto, or London. If interested please PM or email me at steve_0527@hotmail.com or reply to this post. If we don’t get enough people I would still like to make a small group that could meet up and share there skills and knowledge with each other. If we could meet up every month for a few hours would be great.
Thanks..

There is already a Toronto group, and to be completely honest, there is not enough interest in Toronto to host "meets" (me and UWSDWF have been trying for a few years now)
You may have better luck in London...

There is always enough interest! There may not be enough interest on the forums, but that means nothing! If you are looking to generate interest on the forums to to start a group in your area then you might as well give up now, no matter where you live.
Generating interest will have to be done locally, through advertising, word of mouth, ads in the paper, through media channels and such. Interest is something you have to build in your community, its not something that you can just expect to be there without testing the water. Toronto is a rather large place, with a thriving technology industry. If you have been "trying for a few years now" then you obviously haven't put much thought or work into it. Especially considering your Toronto group hasn't met in a long time.

I dont think advertising would be to good in Canada. The police would be all over the meetings. We would have to do it under the radar.

UNDER THE RADAR? As if posting meetings in a public forum constitutes as flying under the radar.
I am still interested in hosting a meeting at my trailer....beer.... campfire.... campsites available...OK.... NO MINORS - sorry but I cannot be responsible for anyone not old enough to drink, or for that matter for anyone who drinks too much!!!
PM if interested.

My thoughts exactly.. this forum is so on the radar... anyways, I believe I am of legal age, and I would be interested, as long as there is no shotguns on site..

It would probably be a drive but if you would let a foreigner in on this secret meeting I would be interested.

'SHOTGUNS' this is Canada, you bring a knife or don't come. Try getting a shotgun hidden under you skidoo suit, and please please please stop with the Terrence and Phillips references, besides its pronounced 'A Boat"

More Canadian? hmm. I was born and raised in Ontario, I only left the province to serve the Canadian Armed Forces for 26 years.
Where does that place me...
and I am a very relaxed person, my humour not so much,

Ah well, here is what started it all, I thought you were implying I was a Yank.. I mean, American by the Terrence and Phillip comment. (which, I am not)
So I decided to attempt to run a joke, which failed, and for me, that's pretty common.

And rifles all the way, not shotguns.

No, I have read your stuff before and was certain that you knew the secret handshake (through mittens), kinda confused me with your challenge that you eventually lost eh?
