BOING - uk police

Anyone ever signed up to work with BOING for the UK police
Just wondered how much work they put your way before i go spending any more money joining

Save your money. They sign up a few in your area including Joiners for boarding up. You get the late night/early morning jobs where the Police/Fireservice have forced entry then you have the fun collecting the money. I gave up on them after having 5 jobs on the trot where the owner was pissed and the Police had forced entry to arrest them for outstanding crimes then told me to bill the pissed bloke.

I joined "Boing" doing boarding up work ..paid £1800 to get work from them was sent to do a repair a door lock........... then was sent an email asking for £800 for doing locksmith work....

I fully agree, that sounds totally off... I can understand paying a "fee" for access to their work, but I don't see them asking for more $$ each time you perform a job..

im pretty sure it was about £11 a job your given which wouldnt be a problem but like alreadt said i bet you have paid your £11 to them and then left chasing the customer for your money.

It would work if they took the customers money and then paid you, like a proper sub contractor.

They sign up a few! - understatement of the year, I have been with them for years now and they always promise they will put no more than 5-6 contractors in that area they fill it they sell every area to the death making it impossible to make any money plus some contractors pay twice and go on double rotation making it more difficult to obtain work! I'm going to the Police about them - out of the 3 Police Forces I work in I should be carrying out between 20 -30 call outs over a 24hr period as I have paid into a very large area, I'm lucky if I recieve 2 call outs a week!

Boing UK Ltd. are the only people making money out of this, nobody else!

No not impressed in the slightest - they are taking money from people like us and not passing over the work, having been working along-side the Police for many years you get to know the pattern of work so when Boing UK Ltd. take over all call-outs from the Police and you stop recievieng work on a regular basis because they have far too many contractors!

Update: works coming in nicely again from West Midlands Police, seems they are getting tired of Boing UK Ltd. and calling out trusted old companies that they used over the years - I feel sorry for the new recruited people that have forked out for work whilst the Police are giving it out for free again.

interesting... wondered why i had a few jobs at burgled properties where the police had given my number...

Id love to see all the big contractors go balls up, theyre rip off merchants that want to be paid top middleman money
