After a month of abstinence I'm trying to get the touch back. These locks that I found in the mail were perfect for a restart. Three 6 pin euros, and a 6 pins padlock (that a famous uk locksmith chopped 'cause he didn't know the trick to open it. I'm going to send him a PM with a suggestion...).

I got your regular Schlage KIK. I thought it would have been easier to pick. I can do it, but must be very careful picking it allthough the bitting is not made hard.

I found out why this felt harder than I thought Schlages would be: Raymond had put a serrated driver in the 6th. chamber.
I was allmost sure of this by feeling it, but had to take the pins out to make sure. ...and hunt for three lost pins for half an hour, found them tho.

It's embarrassing to post this close to KokomoLock's Dom. 10 active pins? wow! I saw you playing, congrats for taming that beast. I know it's not easy, but when finally it opens, what a good feeling



Boring evening, so I decided to play with some standard locks. I'm still trying to get back "in shape" so next time will be padlock evening and then dimple evening. Or vice versa, we'll see...

Dimples evening, started from the easiest mtl 6 pins, 7x7, 2 iseo, bricard, millenco, and then the 2 dom. I put the millenco just before the dom since it has a sydebar and I consider it a bonus, but for the tolerances it has I could consider it easier than the iseo. I still have 2 dom to pick but the movie ended and I went to bed.

It took me 2 evenings to pick all these padlocks! I'm not a super fast picker but I'm not so slow. The reason why it took me so long is that I need to focus a lot to feel the feedback of some locks, and after I open a few I loose sensitivity-concentration. I planned to pick all of these in one evening but when I noticed I was less focused on the pins and just hoping to open the lock I interrupted the padlock-session. I resumed the day after with more enthusiasm and concentration, with great success! Maybe my fingers were just tired...
