My new Feather Touch Tension Tool

Postby BIGORNEX » Wed Dec 22, 2010 2:30 am

Hello,

Having seen this tool on Web, I decided to make one (two).
I used "welding wire" in stainless steel of 1 mm :

This faith I folded everything directly in front of the screen of my PC :

I used ice cream sticks and rounded the edges :

Then I glued the whole together (not only the wood but also my fingers) :( :

I used "heatshrink tubing" for finishing, I made 2 of these tools, one as see on the web and a finer one.

I must again test them, but this will not be before Christmas I think..... :?

Reason: fixed translation of "scabbard" to "tubing" ;-)

Interesting wrenches, let us know how they work. The tip looks a bit big to enter the keyway, but I could be wrong...

Cheers :)

yeah the tip might be a little big, but it looks like you did a great job.
