Let keep the date and time and as it approaches and we see how many people want to go we can pick a place.
Pass the word if you know people who might think it's fun.
Thanks

I know absolutely nothing about lock picking, but it seems like a valuable skill to possess.

I thought I could fit this in, this week but now that I'm home packing I'm realizing there is no way.
I'm going to have to cancel, I'm leaving for Iraq in a few days and am way behind on stuff.
Sorry, I'll be back around Christmas.
Hope to meet you guys then

Me and another friend are also hoping people will want to get together some time to swap locks and/or bs about all things security. Call or email me if you want and I'll start collecting peoples info and availability times and try to put something together. 42s5 2 6 8 193x8s daveg_db.at.yahoo

This needs to happen. I'm in Mountlake Terrace and for 2+ years this thread is just snail pacing around. I have 2 novice pick sets from HPC and a cheap automotive entry kit with wedges, I made a couple automotive long reach tools and I just received my lock pick snap gun and would invite anyone to play with my toys before investing or just for the fun of it. I remember how curious I was before I bought all of it and am totally down with meeting up at my place or a bar or library....ANYWHERE! You know how hard it is to find a group to do this with. Friends either think i'm a tool or they just have no interest. I would like to get at least 3 people together so I didn't feel like I was on an akward man date . let me know. E-mail me mattrepairs@gmail.comor text me @ 425-220-0187 always have my blackberry with me so don't worry about me forgetting about this thread. even if you see this a year from now.

This is something if not already happening we should get the DC206 to host at the blacklodge that way we can have a designated place to go and they have already had a couple lockpicking classes.
Practical Lock Picking: A Physical Penetration Tester's Training Guide is great book I am in the process of purchasing by Deviant Ollam that I had a chance to thumb through..

FYI, the Deviant Ollam's "Practical Lock Picking: A Physical Penetration Tester's Training Guide" book is available at Ada's Technical Books ( http://www.adasbooks.com) in Capitol Hill in case anyone wants to snag a copy.

I'm living down in Federal Way and looking once again to get a club going. Someone called me a while back, not sure how they got my number (I must have put it on here somewhere, I haven't been on this site in a while and can't remember if I did or not), but my phone DIED and I lost the VM and their contact info. This was a few months ago. Anyone interested in starting a locksport type group to hangout share info and locks, hit me up via PM or what ever means you find.

I posted that last one before catching up on the thread. I have to leave to go fly a helicopter : ) but I just caught up and it looks like once again we have a lot of interest. I got one number and a bunch of LP user names. I will send a mass PM to everyone that has touched this thread once I find a good place. Anyone know what "DC206 to host at the blacklodge" is?

from what I goog'd it appears to be a club that has gaming and computer related get together. I don't know if it's a usable arena for a locksport event. I'm still waiting for people who wanna go mess with lockpicking and other entry methods. Current supplies I'm willing to let people experiment with: 2 Hpc novice lockpick sets 1 Brockhage 12pc lockpick set 1 composite jackknife lock pick set generic pick snap gun automotive entry tools various hand made picks & wrenches Mattrepairs@gmail.com425-220-0187

I'll contact you in email as well but I want to keep the thread going. I am very new at this, just started last Defcon. Have you found a venue?
