No, nor is it legal for you to carry any type of lockpicking tool.

Ugh that's not good... I just placed an order for a set of bump keys to try out...

Any idea if it'll ever get to me? Or would it be stopped at the border or whatnot... ><

Hey guys, do you have a place to meet and a licensed locksmith among you to make it legal?

I am not in BC now, but I am going to be there quite soon, and I am really upset if there is no opportunity in BC to pick locks legally. Of course, you can always pick combination locks (because you can do it without any tools), but it's not the same as picking any locks you want...

Please post here or contact me via PM if there are any communities related to locksport (and which are legal of course).

even though I am not sure that we need a place to get together, I think we have to meet from time to time to discuss or hobby and maybe show new cool tools.

BTW, do you know that lockpicks are legal here?

Hi,
I don't know if anyone is still on here...

I was hoping to meet up with anyone who might be able to help me get started, as I've just found out about this new hobby/sport and. I'm very interested to try it!

erm, I guess this would be another msg from a new member... I just signed up on this site as i usually spend my time on keypicking.com.. I was interested in looking for other people that enjoy this hobby in the vancouver area.

I first started out as a lockpicker, and now im taking my apprenticeship for locksmithing at provincial lock and safe on willingdon. Dont know if you would still be able to incorporate me in your lockpicking group.. I am a new member after all

But actually meeting other people that can pick locks would be great! compare locks/picks/tips/tricks and morrrree.. :D
