@art118:

Doesn't matter what it looks like:

Discussion of bypass methods for Abloy locks is advanced...

Locks in use shouldn't be picked...

The lock isn't yours so you shouldn't be asking how to pick or bypass it...

Vending machine type locks aren't discussed in the open forums due to the obvious security implications...

I suggest you re-read the Site Rules and spend a bit more time surfing the forums before posting anymore questions like this one...

@art118 You're about to get banned from the forum. We are not here to teach you how to pick Abloy locks on Coke machines, or how to get into school lockers. This goes against everything we stand for and believe in the hobby of locksport.

EDIT: user has emailed me saying he is trying to help someone by recommending an Abloy lock for their soda machine that keeps getting broken into, I am re-opening the topic to give OP chance to better explain what this is all about.

Do most school lockers have high security locks? Where I went we just had master locks with the dial and the key on the backside. Random curiosity :)

No, most school lockers in the USA have exactly what you had. The bigger point is that going around picking other people's lockers is abig no no, no matter how fun or tempting it may seem. It can ruin your reputation, and any time anything is missing, if people know you pick lockers or classroom doors, guess who they'll be asking first about that missing iPod or sneakers, or whatever kids steal these days.

The medeco vending machine locks are similarly difficult to pick. I have several that are keyed alike if you are interested in using them.

You can NOT pick up vending machine locks from lowes or home depot. You will have to goto a medeco or abloy authorized dealer. And you will be paying a premium price from them.

How many did u need? Maybe we can work Something out.
