Can't open a Cisa European Cylinder

I'm trying since last week to open a CISA with 4 pins with no success. I bought 3 DVDs and 2 manuals about lock picking and I understood a lot, but I still can't get any results. I also got problem when I try to put the hook inside the lock due to the way the cisa is made. I don't know. If you have any suggestion please let me know. Here is the cisa.

well if you are only picking 4 pins then you may never get it open it should have 5 and why the cropped image.

You should start with an easier lock... cisa are well made. Choose some low security and you'll succeed!

Ok. But the problem is that in Italy all the lock that they sell are CISA. I had succes with the classic easy lock, but never get success with the cylinder. The image posted above was wrong. This is the cylinder that I have

As you can see it have 4 pins. But what I don't understand is why if i pull down all the 4 pins the lock doesn't open.

And the first pin (the one that you see) even if I put the tension wrench and I pull it down it always blow up. Anyway I succeed to pull down all the pins, but the lock doesn't open.

As you can see there are no more pins. And I wonder why the lock doesn't open. I also recorded the sound when I left the tension and the clicks are 4. Here the audio. http://soundcloud.com/loscamos/il-mio-brano.

You are most likely oversetting the pins i.e lifting them to high.

Why do you say they sell cisa only? Look for cheap locks in a big store like Brico or Leroy Merlin. Usually there are some cheap ones with "il meno caro" tag. Those are unbranded cylinder, cheap and good to start with.

No offense but you must understand what happens inside a lock before attempting to pick one. Pushing all the pins down it's not how it works. You have to push them down at the correct height. Read some guides in the faq area...

femurat vedo che sei italiano. Possiamo parlare in privato che so su facebook cosi puoi aijtarmi a capire? Con le serrature più semplici ci riesco con la cisa no. Dal brico trovo i lucchetti. This cylinder has quite a narrow keyway , thats why you're have problems with the hook pick. Try using a half daimond.
The CISA cilinder you are working with probably has spool pins.

If you want a simpler cylinder , try to get hold of a CISA Pratic. They are much lower quality. You can identify them by the logo on the front of the cylinder. It looks a bit like the Adidas logo.

I can't understand when a pin is pucked, even if I apply a little bit of tension, and I pull the pin down, I can't hear any click and the pin overpick or not go pick at all.

On mine the pins just overpick or bounce up again...

Firs at all this cylinder this cylinder is not for learning basic of lockpicking, but if you chose to pick this cylinder you mast know how to defeat spool pins. This is example of good technique:

First try to set binding pin (probably lost one). When you do this other pins is much easier to catch,then pick pin by pin and do not use to much force because this over set the pins.If you catch false shear line (spool pins) use previous technique to overcome spools.

I pick this 4 pins CISA cylinder with Southord short hook pick in 5 min for first time.
