You could probably find more detailed info on this if you did a search but the E is pretty much the same looking from outside but inside youll find differnt levers to the 114.Open ended. and the bolt is diffent too.
I dont actually have a 114 pin and cam but should still open the E,Terry Staddons pick also.Chris also makes a curtain pick for these.Lastly if you really have to your drill points going to be different aswell.

The RK is the one with the restricted key. The 'E' is just for European requirements which stipulate a longer bolt, hence different open ended levers.

You can still pick the 114E with the Safeventures pin and cam. The only difference is the number 1 and 2 levers now leave a mark on the impression so you can only limit your options down to levers 1-5 or 6-8.

Forgot to add, to ID, turn the curtain 90 degrees and the 114 will have 2mm of daylight at the bottom while the 'E' will have 6mm+.

Also you can slide an L shaped wire along the bottom of the keyway and after 0.5mm the wire will slip down the inside and hit a ledge about 2mm down while on the non-E the wire will slide about 2mm along the bottom of the keyway before dropping a few mm to the bottom of the case as there's no ledge.

Just to add the 2mm and 6 mm id is quite hard when the hall way is dark and the escutcheon is acrss the keyhole.

you can use a straight piece of wire to feel the difference between the 2 and 6mm gaps with ease if it's dark.

I know i was only winding you up

If you carry a set of mortice gauge keys you could just use the 5G one, i know its .5mm smaller but it certainly wouldnt go through a 2mm gap.

though if using the pin and cam pick, it makes a slight difference on the initial impression, but defeats the lock almost as simply as the non E lock.

also give chris belchers E series curtain pick a shot on it, as it picks far easier than the non E 114 with a curtain pick.

Drillers beware, a totaly different drill point , unless of course you use a 32mm drill bit, then no difference !!!

if you can get a mirror through to the inside, and look through the hole carefully, you may be able to see a picture of a cowboy
