Postby Exodus5000 » Wed Jul 13, 2005 7:45 am

Anyone in the Milwaukee WI region interested in a locksport group? I'm just fishing to see what the interest level is like.

I could probably get a ride down there if there was enough interest. My brother is interested in lockpicking and he's got his driver's license.

I think we should have a general midwest group that meets in a centrally located city, lets say... kansas city. :D

I live in madison. I think we have enough intrest to at least try and do something. I may be able to start something through uw-madison clubs and we get like 200$ a month to fund road apples. not much but i'll buy new pics or locks to practice on/with. especially if theres only like 20 of us. Anyway i have no ide, i know one of my firends started a club and he gets this. Don't know if they'll let this one fly because they don't have a locksmithing class (however there is no chess class and theres a chess club)

Either way i think we should try and do something. Hopefully theres some active members.. chime up if you get this

Milwaukee or Madison. Doesn't matter to me

I'm not sure "semi shady" is the right image for locksport. We really prefer "not shady at all". 8)

Thats why I have given up on starting a local Iowa group. It seems the only people interested asked "Can you show me how to open (insert lock that secures money/shop doors here).

Ditto on that.

And, any interested parties only have one post, and no profile info. How they found the site, and their intentions is too much a mystery for me to bother.
