Sjećanje Hrvatska - Souvenir of Croatia

I bought this titan padlock in Croatia, and even if it's made in Slovenia I consider it a Souvenir of Croatia. I know I could have bought some more locks but I hadn't time to go shopping.

This padlock was made surprisingly well! I wasn't expecting much of a challenge but luckily I was wrong. It took me a lot more than expected to pick it open (consider that I was sure to open it in less than a minute). This could have happened because I could not pick for a week... or because there was a very long pin in the second chamber that reset the lock every time I barely touched it, or because there were at least 2 mushrooms and I wasn't expecting security pins. Anyway I had fun.

Cheers :)

Thanks, I made the picks myself 8)

If you're willing to try it out make your pick with a bristle (or a wiper blade insert) and then give a look at this tutorial for making the handles.
Or we could arrange a trade, but I'm going away for a few weeks so I suggest you to try making the picks yourself.

Cheers :)

I think the gillette hook is in most of the photos that femurat has online. unless he has a complete set of gillette hooks?
he really loves that hook, I think it has already lasted a few year. :D

As I already writed in other topics (but I can't find it anymore, maybe moderators deleted it?) , I live in Slovenia so if anyone needs a Titan lock , I can go to locksmith shop , buy them and send to you (of course without profit, you just pay the cheapest price I can find here and a postage). So if anyone is interested, write me.

Yes Ray, I do love my gillette picks. I made a set a long time ago and sometimes I make a new pick with this handle and add it to the collection. The thing I like the most is its light weight: these handles are caves so I get ultralight picks. IMHO a light pick is essential to get a good feedback. I'll cut one and post a picture here to show you the section of this handle.

Hi rissp, I saw your post and I'm quite sure a mod deleted it: new members are not authorized to sell. Anyway your offer is generous and I hope that in a few weeks you'll meet the requirements needed to sell and trade, so somebody could ask you the locks. Read the BST rules if you want to find out more.

Cheers :)
