i've found that while they are fun to fool around with, they (bobby pins) only function well as tension wrenches. i have trouble shaping the bobby pins via metal grinder to pick shapes, so i go with the feeler guage route.

Not to stray off topic too far, but once I was out fishing with my buddy. The guy who owned the property gave us permission, but didn't know we were there and locked the gate on the trail that lead to the river! When we went to leave, our car was locked in by a Commercial Series Master No. 3 (for those of you who dont know its almost a joke to call it a lock :lol: ). My buddy was worried we'd have to walk to the nearest house and call for a ride, but with a few modified fishhooks and some luck, that good old 'Commercial' grade lock popped right open and we were on our way! After locking up behind us of course :D

It's fun trying to find everyday things to open/bypass locks... maybe a new topic is called for... :D
