This is called "Pickwickel" - I guess an English translation could be "pick wrap": Custom made for my current collection. Cheers mh

Now that is what I was imagining at least one person on this forum had! that is very cool mh. When you say custom made did you make it yourself or was it custom made for you by someone else? Again very cool.

I made it myself, had some material left from a similar project. This style is particularly nice in locksport competitions when you open it up in front of your competitor

and your lock opens by itself, fearing that you will insert one of those picks into it....

Here's a look at my case. Recently improved with a few pieces of gorilla tape. I like it better than with the duct tape because the color matches and it feels better. The gorilla tape has a thickness that duct tape just doesn't match.

And Gorilla tape has a much nicer texture and color, even compared to the 'brown' Duck tape!

Nice fix with the gorilla tape. I like mh's case. Over time I've come up with a custom case that suits my picks very well. Not everything in here is specifically picking related. I work as a locksmith, and there are some tools that I use often enough to put in here.

no I think it's part of the game; around here some folks wear their golden SSDeV pins (which means you finished 1st in one of the previous years) exactly for that purpose...
