Hello, i recently started picking locks and i have little problems getting into your standard master 5 pin locks but what i have trouble with is the door lock. Is there any specific lock pick that is used to get a door lock open. i have a Southord MPXS-14 peace kit.

This is similar to the lock, just shaped differently: http://www.traderscity.com/board/userpi ... knob-1.jpg

If there is anything else you think i should no please let me no.

Thanks. :D

well, a small hook is good with some light tension. what kind of locks can you pick? the best way is to learn how to pick is to practice.

Welcome!

No there isn't, try raking it, try a small diamond or small/medium hook and find something you're comfortable with and once you can open it without a problem try something else.

Better reading as far as understanding goes with nice pictures is definately the Locksport International Guide to Lockpicking.
