I picked up a shiny new Lockwood Twin today, and thought you might like to see some pics. For those that haven't visited Australia, getting 'Dakked' is our friendly way of initiation into a group of friends. Essentially, when the person to be initiated is facing a group of onlookers (the bigger the better), you should run up behind him and remove his 'Daks' (Pants, Shorts, Otherwise), therefore revealing his legs and underwear. If the person has proven themselves of particular esteem amongst said group, you should also remove thier underwear. This Twin being our ASSA rebadge, I though the topic entirely appropriate!
Disclaimer, New camera, no tripod yet. Some pics are a little shaky, and some a little bit bright due to my not working out the flash. Constructive critiscm on photos is welcomed, as a lot of you here are really quite the shutterbugs!
Sort of, balanced pin stacks. These are not standard Lockwood sizes as I suspected they might be. Much larger, in diameter, and a couple far exceed the largest pin in the standard group found in most everything down here.

Average shot of the sidebar recess.

Another fairly average shot of the pin holes. How do you makes these exciting?

Showing the sidebar pin grooves.

The plug after vomiting its sidebar pins.

A more detailed shot of the sidebar pins showing the false gates on the middle pin.

The key inserted, was supposed to show the sidebar gates aligned, but they got lost in the shadow.

The broach. I have seen the T24 profile on here before, I think possibly as an ASSA?

And finally, at home in a body I had laying around. This lock was an incredibly challenging pick with the standard core (all tall spool drivers), and Ive gone and turbocharged it!

Hope you enjoy,
Best Regards,
