Masterlock locks how many pins any security pins master lock

Postby Shrub » Mon Aug 27, 2007 10:30 pm

Ok lots and lots of threads on master locks, how many pins, what sort of pins, how difficult to pick etc,

Ive attempted to make this thread without actually knowing a lot about masterlocks, i dont deal them and i dont come across them very often and the ones i have done havent been any trouble to me so bear with me if im wrong and i ask you post up corrections or additions and ill edit the original post so it can be a one stop referance for master lock info,

I ask you not to quote this post but just to mention the mistake or inclusion you want, if everyone starts quoteing it the thread will be a mess,

sweetness!

this will really help next time i pick up master locks :D

this explains the few times my master 230 has jammed up and ive had to re-set tension.. i thought i was overlifting or something O_O

im gonna save this to favorites ^^

though do you have any objection if i copy this list? itl just be for personal use

other than that, i dont suppose you could include which type of security pins? or are they a random mix?

Very cool post. I know over here in the US, they have master locks around everywhere and fairly cheap too. So for practicing they are easy to run out and buy one if you don't get a lot deal on ebay.

Thanks

The post is posted with the usual site rules in mind, personal use is never frowned upon but copying it to other sites is,
You copy it out for your records if you want but i adivse you just keep checking the thread as i hope the list will become more accurite and end up with all the line up on it,

I stress the fact again that i dont know these locks and the list is just a starting point ive made, if you see an error then please tell me,

I will sticky it for you so its easier to find,

Jacknco, cheers,
Shrub

I thought you were too poor to be betting money though?

Well i know for sure that a regular will post up the question, its simply how this site works, make a thread telling someone how to make gold from sand and someone will post up a new thread 10 mins later asking how to make gold from sand,

I think my £50 is safe

Just a note/question about the #21. The ones I have seen only have had 4 pins, can anyone else confirm this?

Not sure if it matters for your list but these are also quite frequently used in masterkey systems.
