Where have you been?

I kinda figure that since I am back some people might have a question or two about what happened to me, or where I have been or lord knows what.

Since I didn't want to hijack anybody's thread I figure I should start one just for the purpose.

Seems to me this is the best place as I am sure there will be questions.

Well guys, here is the deal in quick format:

I was working one day and all of a sudden I was horizontal when I should have been vertical. A bad position all in all as i was holding a drill at the time.

The Doc said something about an anxiety attack, and that my heart decided it was a good time to take a vacation off to the Bahamas. I really would have rathered it asked me to go along, but that wasn't the case.

At any rate, it turns out I was a lot more wound than I thought. I've spent the last several months learning to chat "Calm blue ocean.....Calm blue ocean......" over and over again.

Funny thing, not once did my doctor tell me to quit smoking. Tore a strip off of me for not knowing when to sleep and having a diet that would make a wild boar ashamed, but he never tried to take the smokes. Told me it would just over shock my system.

So now I have to treat every pain in my chest like a warning sign, watch everything I eat and hope like the dickens I can loose weight. So far I am not getting to far with that. Oh, and I am supposed to de-stress.

Now, anybody who knows me personally knows that I am the fat version of Denis Leary. I live for a good rant, so this in itself is most unlikely. So the Doc taught me that old prayer:

"Lord give me the strength to change the things I can, endure the things I must and the wisdom to know the difference". I'm still working on the wisdom part at any rate.

My shop is a mess, my business is in tatters and I have a number of projects that require finishing and distribution. To these things I can only say that when you have others looking after things for you, be sure that you can depend on them and trust them to do things as if it were for themselves.

Norma Jean and I have been working on fixing a lot of this mess while she has been on maternity leave over the last 11 months. We had a difficult setback early in the year with the death of Norma Jean's father in Saskatchewan which required our presence, and the financial stress of that situation caused some slow downs.

Our newest addition, Francesca Ivanova Spencer was born October 28, 2005 and she has managed to not only keep us busy but to remind me of why I embarked on my own business in the first place.

It would seem that I have a long road ahead of me, and I will be around as much as I can be while I put all the pieces back into place. This includes various projects that I was working on, as well as several orders that never made it to their various homes.

If you are one of these people, I would appreciate it greatly if you would drop me a line and provide as many particulars as you can remember so that I can take care of any outstanding issues as soon as possible.

Looking forward to being a part of the community again.

Hey Goon, if you haven't taken up a career as a professional as* kisser you may want to look into it. Washington is calling man.

I don't embarass easily, and that just about turned me red.

Its good to see you.

What do you mean flaming? It can't be that bad in such short order.

I have some "posts" I am working on as I actually want to edit these things so that it doesn't look like I was half drunk when I typed them.

Yeah, it figures there still isn't an edit button. I assume you have one though.

A free for all every now and then can be a good thing if it doesn't get out of hand.
