Ok, i ordered from this site today, and i live in australia so i wanted to do wire transfer to send them the money, so i get through the order process to the point where i get there bank details so i can send them the money, so i see a button that says "printable version of invoice", thinking this would bring up a printable version of said info, i clicked it.
Instead it comes up with a printable invoice, which is not what i needed, so i click back. no the information is gone, and i can't find it when i log in, i can't find the info i need to send them money and i'm pissed cause they won't reply to my email, i'm so annoyed, has anyone ever had problems with this site before?
can anyone recomend a good site for international customers, all sites are American it's not fair .

Try to make a new order and send an email to cancelling the other order, and don´t go to printable order form, only save the web like a *.html or write the data in a paper. I´m new here, in fact, my picks have arrived yesterday from www.lockpicks.com. In my opinion, this is the best shop for international orders. Excuse me if i don´t write well in english, i´m spanish.

Gday Yadkci!!
Fellow Ozzie here - mate I have been using Lockpicks.com for some time and have found them to be pretty realiable and fast BUT this month has been very poor for them - I have still not received the kit I ordered on 24 Aug 03 - the gear is however on the way now
I use info@lockpicks.com to send all of my issues to and they have responded pretty much each time. As one of the other dudes said cancel the order and start again. I have used a CC and never had issues with it.
I have also sent an info copy of this email to lockpicks so that they start to get the message that their clients are getting disgruntled. It is bloody hard to run a business when you are waiting on tools!!!
Hopefully you get what you want soon!
Cheers,
Darius

I was also have problem order from lockpicks.com. I remember I was pay by credit card. After 2 weeks. I ask them shipping status, then they said my card was declined and the order cancel. ! If I didn't ask them the status. The status will always show "pending". But I check with my card centre. They said the payment was acceptable, just waiting for the seller to submit the code. Even now, I don't know which side had problem.
I have been try another online lockpick store. After I check out. I receive their email that suggest I pay by wire transfer or money order. Otherwise, I need to fill out a "Credit Card Authorization Form". That form need the buyer to fill in personal sensitive info. Also the image of the credit card and ID card or driving license. It seems that this kinds of store not prefer their customer pay by cresit card.

I use http://www.lockpicks.com/ exclusively and have found them to be EXCELLENT!!! I’ve been told that they went thru a few employee problems in the month of September 2003, and this may account for some delays. They also ran out of stock on some items again leading to delays.
I also KNOW they will meet OR BEAT ANY other sites prices!!! They have done it for me on at least three occasions… UNBELIEVABLE!!!
They are the ONLY site to carry this NEW set of picks. I bought it and recommend it for the Mid to High level locksmiths. It has NEW TOOLS that have been able to open locks previously “unpickable†with the standard sets available today. The reason; Very thin shafts that taper only slightly into the handle. A large selection of “Hooks†seven (7) of them with various thickness and lift.
Anyway, the link is: http://www.lockpicks.com/product.asp?3=265

Hello All,
I want to thank you for your comments. I will be calling a meeting tomorrow with my staff, and will have each one of your comments and problems investigated to see if there are any holes in our processes. Our #1 goal is customer satisfaction and it looks like we may be missing the mark with some of you. We will make it right.
I believe I know what the problem might be with our international customers who are experiencing delays, etc... We receive a large number of frudulant credit card transactions from people all over the world everyday. Unfortunately Visa/MasterCard does not have a good system in place to verify these transactions. When it turns out to be fraud, months afterthe sale the money is removed from our bank account and returned to the actual card holder's account. American Express on the other hand allows us to verify that we are sending the package to the card holder's address which is great for everyone. With Visa/MasterCard we are stuck to try and verify the address on our own. This usually involves making an international call to the bank that issued the card. Sometimes this works and sometimes it does not. A new law in Australia now prohibits credit card issuers from giving out any information about their card holders which means they can not verify the address information... We need to find another solution and are working on it. Until then we will continue to service our Australian customer as we have been doing for 6 years now. By the way, if anyone wants to become our Australian Dealer, please let me know!! You probably will not find better wholesale prices then what we offer.
Anyway, I encourage our customers to email direct at CEO@LockPicks.com if they ever have a problem with getting service or if you receive bad service. I take quick action on these situations. This is the reason we have been a success for longer then almost any other locksmith tool site.
Thank you again for your comments and your Business! And, please feel free to contact me or my staff at any time.

I would like to make a comment about lockpick.com and that is I have written an enquiry email to them but have yet to receive a reply. It has been 5 days since I sent the email. I was going to turn to other online stores but decided to check out the forums first.
Now that I have more or less ascertain that lockpick.com is a rather popular site. I think I might discount that email and still order from them. Another thing I must say is comparing lockpick.com and southord.com I think lockpick.com has a more user-friendly website and looks more appealing than southord.com This is just on the look of the website. If any would like to comment more about their services, please feel free to do so. Thanks!

For those who have ordered via lockpick.com before. How long did the shipping take approximately after payment was received? It seems like quite a while since anyone ordered from this website so I just like to make sure that their business is still operational.

Do you mean lockpicks.com and not lockpick.com, if this is the case I have received all of my orders within 4 days, not including weekends and holidays, after the payment was received.

yes you are right salzi. My bad. it is lockpicks.com
Another note on this. I have received an email reply from SouthOrd.com regarding my enquiry. Seems like they are really efficient. However, the postage is a little more costly on SouthOrd.com About AU$6 difference. Does anyone know if lockpicks.com or SouthOrd sends the package with insurance?
I wonder if I mention this to SouthOrd.com if they might try and beat the price of lockpicks.com...

Hey all,
I have actually never ordered from lockpicks.com, as i have ordered from south ord about five times and never had any trouble with them. I live in Australia and from south ord i always end up getting my order within 2 weeks - actually all orders have being less. And soon im going to be ordering a 32 piece lock pick set and again i will be ordering from south ord. The main reason i order from south ord directly is the fact that they pretty much would always have stock in and plus ive never had any trouble with them, and i only ever order picks from them and have no need to purchase anything else over the net as the Locksmithing Supply Company of Australia sells pretty much any thing to the general public save for picks.
Any thats just my 2 cents - if you live in Australia i definatly reccomend www.southord.com
Cheers,
Luke

I recently placed my first order with lockpicks.com as well. on 6-28, I sent an email wth a couple questions the same day.
They sent a reply with tracking number the day after I made the purchase. 6-29... but I never got an answer to my questions in the seperate email.
for 2 days this is all the tracking information from USPS says:
The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on June 28, 2004 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
The tracking info hasnt updated in almost 3 days... I'm getting the feeling that the order confirmation was automated... and the package hasn't shipped yet.
I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I have never ever had a problem with lockpicks.com, even when I ordered a $300+ item. Give them some time. Life shouldn't always move at digital pace.
