BEst to start using the hooks - raking is too easy and if you learn it first you'll rely on it too much and raking doesn't always work.

Off topic - zeke needs a mod sig. Any volunteers or am I busting out the crayons and the scanner?

offtopic: I'll volunteer to make a sig, anything that would suit him in particular? We should accumulate a few entries and let him choose, if not making a sig from his direct feedback.

ontopic: Read the mit guide, it'll explain the facts behind lockpicking, then using your set, find which tool feels best to you, and use that. Go from there.

Have you tried looking at the howstuffworks website for lockpicking info? Last I knew it had some pretty good animations. Also you can try http://deviating.net/lockpicking/ for some more good information.

zeke - Thanks for the link to Deviant Ollam site. It really helped me understand a couple of things that were a little fuzzy.
