That cabletie one was extremely creative. What did you use to shape the tip of the cable tie? I'm guessing plain old scissors, but that seems slightly tedious. Also, it looks to me like it resembles a snake pick. Is that what you were aiming for or have my eyesight and imagination tricked me into seeing something from a plain angled tip?
Kudos on both videos!

i once used a pair of cheap tweezers and ground it down with a metal file to make a tension wrench and rake. it took like half an hour but it opened my kwikset deadbolt.

If anyone is interested in this magazine, please go out and buy it or buy the backissue that you're curious about. Scanning magazines and posting links is just as bad posting links to pirated software.

Now that being said, 2600 has always made it abundantly clear to its readership that the original authors may repost articles written for 2600 on other sites, but only at their own discretion. Based on the filenames, I would venture to guess that the original writer wasn't the one who made those scans.

That is one of the few issues of 2600 i actually own. Its a fun little read, and its worth the few bucks to pick up the copy. Not all of the picks shown are the most effective, but they all would work given the right lock. I think the best would be the credcard. Although they are really common, they work like a charm when you can card a door ( i even keep one in my wallet incase i forget a key)

My friend was locked out of her mailbox last week, and I took 2 forks and removed 3 prongs off of both of them and made 1 into a tension wrench and 1 into a rake and picked her mailbox open. (it was a wafer lock)
